“Since She Left Me Behind” is the first single from the new album, “Better Late Than Never." It was originally released September 29, 2022 on The Rebel Cause record label.

John's songwriting draws from the Americana, Roots-Rock, Singer-Songwriter, and Power-Pop genres. With influences that include Elvis Costello, Graham Parsons, Hank Williams, and Bob Dylan; John’s songs tell compelling and heartfelt stories of life, love, and loss. With "Since She Left Me Behind,” these themes are distilled to their essence.

"Better Late than Never" includes 11 new original songs, and is scheduled to be released in 2023. Like John’s first album - “Just Like a Human Being” (1995) - it will be available on most streaming music sites.

(And yes, that is twenty-eight years between the first and second album.)
