Bugaboo Records proudly announces the release
on March 17, 2023, of the new single
“Take Away”
from the upcoming album “Better Late Than Never” by John Egan.
"Take Away" sees John and the band move in a more up-tempo direction - back to their rock'n'roll roots - from the folk territory of the first single. That song, "Since She Left Me Behind," was originally released by The Rebel Cause Record Label on September 29, 2022.
John's songwriting draws from the wells of Americana, Roots-Rock, Singer-Songwriter, and Power-Pop. With influences that include Elvis Costello, Graham Parsons, Hank Williams, and Bob Dylan; his songs tell compelling and heartfelt stories of life, love, and loss. This high-energy track continues to tap into those sources.
The album - John's second - will include 11 new original songs and is scheduled to be released in early 2023. ​"Just Like a Human Being," the debut album from 1995, is available everywhere thanks to CDBaby. (And yes, that is twenty-eight years between the first and second album.)
